On February 3, 2019, Groove Heads Entertainment team captured many video and still photography moments at the Daniel Lavin’s Amnon Weinstein, The Man Behind The Music - a Photography Exhibition. The free exhibition featured images of Amnon Weinstein, the man behind Violins of Hope, as he lovingly restores and gives new voice to these stringed instruments that survived the horrors of the Holocaust, even when their owners perished. Levin’s photographs, which were on display at the Cutler Plotkin Jewish Heritage Center at the Arizona Jewish Historical Society, offer an insider’s perspective into Weinstein’s eclectic workshop and his forensic-like approach to the restoration process and provide the backstory for other Violins of Hope Phoenix programming and events.
